Here is the last part of my vacation in Cancun!  We spent the last days there just relaxing at the hotel.  I already miss it but I know I will go back very soon.  I’ve yet to visit other beaches in the world, but Cancun and the Riviera Maya (more…)

I am now back home from Cancun!  It was a very relaxing vacation and I wish I could’ve stayed longer.  I hate that feeling of being “back to reality.”  Anyway, as mentioned in my last post, here are the photos of my little trip to the Mayan ruins of Coba, which is a short drive away from Cancun.  It was an awesome experience; I love visiting archaeological sites and learning about our ancestors, especially the ones who built such incredible structures.  The Mayan civilization is one of my favorites; there’s so much to learn from their culture.  Coba was amazing because unlike Chichen Itza, it is completely hidden in the middle of the jungle and you are also able to climb their highest pyramid, Ixmoja.  However, this is the last year that they are letting tourists climb up there, so if you’re going to Cancun soon, take advantage!  I was on my way to the top of the pyramid, but halfway there, I looked down and I just couldn’t do it; I was too scared!  You will see the photos below…  (more…)

Here is the second part of my adventures in Cancun!  These pictures are all from yesterday while walking around Playa del Carmen and by the pool.  I am completely in love with ‘La 5ta Avenida‘ (5th Avenue) in Playa del Carmen; it is definitely one of my favorite places to be in Mexico, and I like this 5th Avenue much more than the one in New York. 😉  It is the perfect combination of cute art shops, restaurants, bars, local designer and luxury stores, and the jungle.  I was even more excited when I got the chance to hold the baby lioness and jaguar; tourists are allowed to hold and take pictures with them there on La 5ta Avenida.  You can see the photos below.   (more…)

Greetings from Cancun!  I just arrived here yesterday and I’m very excited to be at this paradise for the second time.  I really needed a relaxing vacation and a tan! 😉  Here I am sharing some of the photos from yesterday when I arrived and from today at the beach and poolside.  As you can tell, I love wearing the color combination white and aqua blue when I go to the beach. An SF Birthday

So yesterday was my birthday and my sweet Andres surprised me by taking me on a day trip to San Francisco. 🙂  Can you believe that I’ve lived in California my whole life and had never been to SF? Crazy, right?  I’ve always wanted to go so I was extremely excited.  There wasn’t enough time to see everything, but I got to do most of the tourist-y stuff like drive across the Golden Gate Bridge and ride the Cable Car.  SF is such a beautiful city, the architecture is just amazing.  I was dying over the Victorian homes.  I can’t wait to go back! To top it all off, Andres gave me the most amazing gift from Missoni (I freakin’ love Missoni), as you will see in the last photo. 😉  He knows me so well; I seriously have the best boyfriend ever, this birthday was incredible! 🙂

The Lion in Rome

gladiators at the colosseum in rome italy

So, here is the last part of my adventures in Europe.  I know the first photo is the ultimate tourist shot, but I couldn’t help it; it was my favorite out of the bunch and I just loved the “gladiators.” 😉  I am at a loss for words for Rome, everything about it was just amazing: it is definitely one of my favorite cities!  I think what made it more memorable was attending mass at Piazza San Pietro; it was a touching moment because I got to see Papa Francesco, as you will see below!

Well, now I’m going back to posting looks.  I have one coming up really soon!  I know that I haven’t been posting as often as I’ve wanted to, but thank you to all of you who have been patient and have kept coming back to look at my blog, even though it’s practically been nonexistent! 🙂

The Lion in Monte Carlo

monte carlo monaco fashion

Here they are, the photos of my day in Monte Carlo! 😉  It really is a magical place that is easy to fall in love with; it’s so perfect that it felt unreal.  Andres and I spent the day walking around and taking in all the beautiful architecture, history, and breathtaking views.  And in the evening…we headed to the one and only Le Casino; we didn’t have the best of luck gambling, but the experience was great and the architecture indoors was just amazing!  Sadly, photos were not allowed inside, but it is something you should not miss if you ever visit.   All in all, I enjoyed everything about Monte Carlo; I will definitely go back!

…and the last part of my adventures in Europe will be coming soon!
