Happy New Year everyone! I hope you had a magical holiday season especially after the crappy year we had. I don’t know, it might’ve been a great year for some people, but I think for most of us it definitely wasn’t. I can’t say it was all that bad; I did travel to Croatia which was probably the highlight of my year, and I had a lot of time to let loose, party, and reconnect with my roots in Mexico. But, both personally and as a whole with all of the things going on the world, and all of the talented people we lost; it’s been a real mess. Anyway, I do have a good feeling about this year (it’s lucky number 7, after all!)
It’s been a while since I’ve posted a look. The holidays were just crazy this year; it was hard for me to stay on track, unfortunately. But here I am, back at it. I decided to start the year with a look that’s typically me during the winter…all black, gold, embroidery, layers, fur, leather, and yes jewels. I was inspired by the Matador look. I’m totally against bullfighting but the Matador suits, or the ‘Traje de Luces‘, I just can’t get enough of. They’re so beautiful, I hope I can own one of those jackets one day.
